COMPOSITIon

This is a essential fatty acid.
It has as main compoent the ricinoleic acid (Figure 1).

action mechanism

The bactericide action is cytolitic. It is solvent assets of the “quitina” present in the cellular membrane of whole microorganism.

INDICAtion

- chemical debridement and facilitator of the healing process;
- treatment of wounds infected as helping of the sistemic antibioticotherapy. 

to USE

- Chemical Desbridement Action: to apply, with the gauze aid, the ricinoleic acid (100% concentrate), maintain it at 5 to 15 minutes, according to the need.

- Bactericide Action: washing the wound with ricinoleic acid at 25% (phisiologic saline solution diluition) in the proportion of 1:4 (solution pattern). To repeat the operation all the time that the healing be accomplished.
