Starting from the decade of 60 studies were accomplished on the biological effects of the lasertherapy in the repair tecidual, successively other researches demonstrate the clinical aplicabilidade and today the lasertherapy has been applied broadly in the treatment of wounds.

To be used in the cicatricial cutaneous repairing the laser ray it must possess excellent interaction with the tissue cutaneous.

The laser can be composed of some gases, such as: Co2, Diode, Neodymium (Nd) and Helium-Neonium (HeNe).

The HeNe laser is used in the tecidual repairing.

*Indicated in the treatment of superficial and deep, clean or infected wounds.

In neoplasic injuries, since it can stimulate its development, and in carrying patients of retinopatia.

The number of applications is variable according to the pathology, phase cicatricial and used protocol.

 

DRESSINGS DURING THE LASERTHERAPY

The stream bed of the injury must be kept humid, as, for example, with linoleic acid (essential fatty acid) and hydrogel.

DRESSING and COVERINGS

*- proliferative because it increases the neo-angiogenesis and the fibroblast synthesis and collagen.

- anti-edematogenic because it increases the capillary permeability;

- anti-inflammatory for vasodilatation of the capillary ones;

- analgesia because it normalizes the electric potential of the cellular membrane, liberating chemiotoxics substances that stimulate the endorfine liberation.

PUNCTUAL TECHNIQUE:
applied technique the
approximately 1 cm of the border of the wound, with about 2 cm of distance among them, totally surrounding the wound. 

sweeping technique: scaneamento of the whole border of the lesion e/ou inside of her, being used protecting gel.

The technique of used application depends on the characteristics of the stream bed of the wound, especially of its dimension.

1. Prompt technique or point
the point: the edge of the wound is applied in determined points.

2. Technique of external
sweepings: the edge of the wound is applied in all.

3. Technique of internal
sweepings: it is applied inside of the proper injury.

4. Technique of mixing
sweepings: they are applied, of joint form, the sweepings internal and external.

5. Associated technique - they are applied, of joint form, prompt and the mixing sweepings.
